Our Story

Well hello there! We're glad you found us-

We're Sarah and Thomas; a young married couple with four adorable, wild and crazy children - Declan, Ila, Emmett & Wesley.

For a long time we knew we wanted to start a farm, but we weren't quite sure what that looked like. Both my parents grew up on Vermont dairy farms and Thomas grew up on a dairy farm himself in Bridport. We've grown up surrounded by agriculture and hard working motivated people so it was only natural for us to want to raise our children in a similar environment. Who doesn't love little farm kids?

While on a family vacation, our family joked about selling flower bouquets along the roadside. This sparked immediate interest and from that moment I knew I was going to grow cut flowers. A month later we established Four Blooms Farm LLC. 

From the moment of discovering flower farming, I (Sarah) knew this was exactly what we were meant to do. Thomas and I both have always had a love for flowers, landscaping, staying busy and agriculture. 

It brings us so much joy teaching our young children the important role flowers have in our lives. Our daughter often tells us how she has dreams of picking flowers with mommy and her baby brother Wesley, who she adores. Ila enjoys cutting and arranging flowers while the boys love playing in the dirt and making a mess. 

 One of our goals with starting our flower farm is to grow year round flowers in our chilly Vermont climate. 2024 was our first year forcing tulips and  it was a blast! We received the best comments and messages from people who received our flowers during the cold months when nothing else was blooming locally. We are excited to continue to grow each month of the year to provide our community with fresh blooms.
